Same, having Coronato learn the NHL game with Backlund is best case scenario to be honest.

Huby - Lindy - Mang is a good step. I ultimately believe we end up with: Huby - Lindy - Coronato

...if Huby and Lindy stay together, but I'm not sure they will at this stage.

I've liked Oesterle and Solovyov, so important they have both been solid.

Certainly needed unknowns on D to surprise and step up with the loss of Kylington again.

Watching Sharangovich I was hoping to see him tried with Backlund, seems to have a high hockey IQ which could pair very well.

Adding Coronato on the other side with that shot plus the fact that Backlund affords Sharangovich and Coronato the ability to focus on offense and cheat on the defensive side a bit could be fun to watch.

I absolutely love the D pairings. That's what I was expecting going into the season.

I still want to see Huberdeau with Kadri instead of Lindholm. I would swap Hubreadeau and Ruzicka.

I also really want to see Huska try:
Huberdaeu - Kadri - Lindholm for a game. Have Dube as the 3rd line C.

I don’t want Huberdeau anywhere near Kadri. Last season when they were together it was painful, zero chemistry. I’d like to see Huska leave Huberdeau and Lindholm together, the teams best winger and center, for an extended amount of time and hope like heck they click sooner than later because that duo makes the most sense.

Interesting that they are shaking up lines a bit. I still think when all is said and done we will see something like:

Huby/Lindholm/Sharangovich
Dube/Kadri/Coronato
Mangiapane/Backlund/Coleman
Hunt/Ruzicka/Duehr
Klapka

I thought a lot of it had to do with Kadri running out of gas mid way through the season, after his long playoff run. All in all Kadri - Huberdeau were on the ice for 23 goals for. The next are Huberdeau - Backlund, and Huberdeau - Lucic with 11.

IMO, Kadri and Huerdeau showed chemistry on the PP, and it looked like they had some chemistry in preseason.

Here are the Kadri - Huberdeau combinations this season:
Dube - Kadri - Huberdeau
36:07min, 5GF, 0GA, 69.7%xG, 4.21xGF, 1.83xGA
Ritchie - Kadri - Huberdeau
33:17min, 2GF, 2GA, 68.4%xG, 4.67xGF, 2.15xGA
Huberdeau - Kadri - Toffoli
21:13min, 2GF, 0GA, 64.7%xG, 3.2xGF, 1.75xGA
Pelletier - Kadri - Huberdeau
153:02min, 5GF, 7GA, 59.1%xG, 3.58xGF, 2.48xGA
Lucic - Kadri - Huberdeau
187:29min, 12GF, 7GA, 49.7%xG, 2.49xGF, 2.52xGA
Mangiapane - Kadri - Huberdeau
47:08min, 1GF, 5GA, 36.5%xG, 2.16xGF, 3.75xGA
Aside from Lucic, and Mangiapane those combinations shown very good results.
