NFL Week 14
A lot of boring games out there now that it's late in the season. I'm keeping my eyes on Indy/Jax KC/DAL CHI/PITT TB/CAR.

The Steelers are making the Bears look like the team they really are.

I friggin forgot to make my picks....ugh.
Looks like Cleveland is giving the Bengals all they can handle, and the Bear ( agree with DIs) are being exposed as a team that really is nothing special, even on D.
Tampa walking into Carolina with 1st in the division on the line and whackin em so far is impressive too.

Jerome Bettis is having a monster day. Just eating that vaunted Bears defense up.

Man the Carolina Panthers have to be the most inconsistant team in the league, you never know which team will show up.
Great effort by the Browns today, the first pass interference call against them on that field goal winning drive was complete bull.

This KC/Dallas game is a load of fun!
I'm actually rooting for the Chiefs, which makes no sense whatsoever. LOL

In 1998 the Broncos were 13-0. They went to New York and lost to a mediocre Giants team the next week.
The Colts have San Diego at home. I thought this would be a good chance for someone to knock them off, but I think after today the Chargers are going to fold....plus their secondary is brutal.
I think they lose in Seattle and go 15-1

Denver lost to the Giants I think they had there backup QB in just a wild game. I don't see that happening to Indy. I think if they can get past a SD team that's gonna be desprate as hell for a win, they go undefeated. Either way I have a tough time finding a team that could beat the Colts right now. If anybodys gonna beat them it's gonna be themselves. The Jaguars defense was an absolute joke today. They ran there mouths all week about how they could stop Peyton then they take how many after the whistle blew stupid late hit penaltys? Henderson trying to run Edge's face into the ground. Nice job at trying to make a staement you joke.
Dallas KC game was awsome, how did Tynes miss that? Denever was a little to close for confort.

Ughhhh....Nail in the coffin for the Chiefs....couldn't afford another loss, and they just fall short in Dallas. I'd say that theres next year but this is already the NFL's oldest team...They need to start the overhaul now because maybe in 3 years they can get to where they need to be before LJ gets too old.

Indy WILL NOT go undefeated. They've already clinched 1st seed in the AFC, so their starters will not see full action.
Undefeated season means nothing -- it's all about the playoffs, and better to have their starters healthy. SD and Seattle should easily beat their team of back-ups, and Arizona might as well.

What about Seattle flames1987?
San Diego lost at home to Miami today. They don't deserve to make the playoffs.
I think KC can still get in Sylvanfan. They are @ New York, and are capable of winning that game...though it will be tough. Then they have San Diego and Cinci at home...two teams they are competing with to get in. I think if they win all 3 they are in. Denver will help you by beating San Diego on New Year's Eve.
Speaking of Denver, yeah that game was too close for comfort, but it wasn't on TV here so I listened on the radio. It was basically a case of Baltimore pulling 2 giant plays out of their asses more than anything else.
Cincinnatti and especially Pittsburgh have easy schedules the rest of the way. Though, at Buffalo COULD trip up Cincy or Denver. Jacksonville has an easy schedule at first glance, but I could see them stumbling down the stretch here. It's going to be a fun race. My predictions for the AFC...
1. Indy 15-1
2. Denver 13-3
3. Cincinatti 12-4
4. New England 11-5
5. Pittsburgh 11-5
6. Kansas City 11-5
I'm thinking Jacksonville could lose their last two.
After all of that (and I'm probably kidding myself that both KC and Pittsburgh get in) I know one thing for sure....I wouldn't want to play New England in the playoffs...home or road.

Well, my Seahawks looked good against not much of a team. They've made me a believer finally a few weeks ago, was too bad to see the Giants won in OT, or the NFC would basically be Seattle's.
Very glad they end on a tough schedule to keep them focused. Ok, not Tennasee next week, but then home to Indy which should be a SUPER game, and then in the cold in GB to finish off the season and slay that dragon.

Well the Chiefs do have a couple things going for them right now. San Diego does have a tough schedule left too and Pittsburgh is only 6-5 vs. the AFC. If the Chiefs win out than they certainly have a shot. Next week in New York will be a tough game as the Giants have been good at home. But after that they get San Diego in Arrowhead, and they might get a Cinci team who has their division wrapped up who rest their starters. I still think Jacksonvilles schedule is pretty soft from here in and they are a game up with only three left. So the playoff spot is theirs to lose.
Agreed about New England though, they will be heard from before it's over. I'd rather have the #6 seed and get to go to Cinci, than be that 5 seed going to New England. And don't think the Colts will be too excited about seeing the Pats come to the RCA dome for their first game. I think they'd much rather see a team that knocks off Cinci.
