Flames announce 21/22 preseason schedule

Looking forward to seeing the regular season schedule; sounds like that might be coming out on Thursday after the expansion draft tomorrow.

in 2019 their first pre-season game was Sept 16th. On the surface, it looks like the start of the 21/22 season has been delayed by 10 days. Add in the potential for an Olympic break, it will be a very condensed schedule that may not have the Stanley Cup until very late June or even July

Yet somehow the Oilers will get all their opponents tired on back to backs while always rested.

2 games too many, nfl reduced a game for upcoming seasons, no preseason in January for NHL, zero for NFL last year and hardly any for NBA in December.

8 is unnecessary IMO.

I love watching the prospects with more ice time personally. The last couple games are closer to game 1 rosters, but they aren’t going to skip those if there were less game.

I think the season would start on the 12th regardless of how long the preseason was.
