Nolan Patrick apparently loved Kelly McCrimmon in Brandon.
Friedman and Marek talked about how he would run through a wall for his coach, so a good landing place for Patrick to try and get back on track.

I think Glass is more of a sure thing player but Patrick has a really high ceiling still.

I get your hate for Treliving, but all rumors point to flames being active. His prices might be exceptionally high or extremely unreasonable. Or there just wasn’t a trade to be made.

That seems to be the issue everytime there is activity in the league. Maybe he is just not very good at his job if he continuously doesn't see the same value for players as the rest of the league.

Or he can't close a deal. Maybe he should start using his staff to bounce offers off instead of being the only one in on trades. You can never have enough differing opinions.

I really like this deal for Vegas. Thought Glass struggled to generate much of anything offensively. It doesn't seem like much of a gamble on someone like Patrick.

I thought when Glass was given a chance to play with their offensive players like Stone he looked very good. He is just not a bottom six guy. He was never really given the chance to succeed in Vegas imo. Kind of reminds me of San Bennett and the Flames.
