This is for his UFA rights. They have 11 days to sign him.

They also got a 3rd in return so they basically just dropped 60 spots in the draft for 2 years of Goodrow. Not a bad deal at all.

He’s also a UFA so this is just his rights. They can’t afford to re-sign him
