The Flames claw their way into a #10 OA draft pick. Last year the .467 winning pct is a solid 5 OA pick going into the lottery. A loss last night would have them in 8 OA.
A win tonight might move them to #11 OA Hoping for an Arz /LA OT game to keep them above the Flames in the standings.
It will be interesting as the Flames have their last 5 games against the other north division "tankers" Ottawa and then the last 4 with Vancouver.
Pretty much the worst scenario the league could want. Will the Flames go with Domique and Zagidulin the last 5 games? When do they rest Markstrom?
Last year the Flames got 2 third round picks dropping from 19 to 24
When/if they're officially eliminated. As much as the team tankers would love it Domingue isn't going to see any playing time as long as there's a chance no matter how slim.
