Flames assign Simon, Petrovic, Ruzicka to Heat. Kirkland recalled
Calgary Flames @NHLFlames
#Flames Roster Update: Dominik Simon, Alexander Petrovic, and Adam Ruzicka have been assigned to the @AHLHeat from the taxi squad. In addition, Justin Kirkland has been recalled from Stockton to the taxi squad.

Is that 2 of 4 call ups used or 1. Not sure if Ruzicka was 1 after deadline day.

Kirkland has been out of the Heat lineup since March 26 with an injury.

I don't believe these moves count against the 4 allowed call-ups because they're not actually going onto the active NHL roster.
As I understand it, moving a player from the taxi squad to the NHL counts against the 4 recalls. Moving players between the taxi squad and the AHL doesn't.
I suspect these moves are just to give these players some game action in today's Heat game at the Saddledome and they'll all be back on the taxi squad before the Flames play again on Monday.
