Side note: is there any negatives to not disclosing the finalists when a UFA bid has multiple interested parties and moves to round 2? For this one, I knew I could out bid the Ducks but the Caps had a lot of cash to play with and that forced me to make a cap trade to help my chances at winning Sbisa. It worked out for me but, had I not known who else had a shot, I would not have bid as much.
I think it would be more fun/challenging to not know who we were bidding against but need to understand if that would carry any potential negatives.

Well the one negative is I know. So if I'm one of the bidding teams that gives me an advantage?
The current way also allows me to be transparent with the league, for instance in this case, being able to highlight why a team that did submit an offer didn't make it to the 2nd round.
I'm open to the option though. I just don't know how to get around the fact that I can see who has made offers. So if I know it feels like everyone should?
