Welcome back Jordon
Ok I read the pet thread, then I read his goodbye thread and now that he's back some of you can't leave him alone.
He complains. So do the rest of us. He once admitted to having a cooler. What's wrong with them? At least he cheers for the proper team. I don't know why I am coming to his defence, I just think that CP shouldn't be so dangerous to express your honest opinion.
I hope that this doesn't get ignored just because I am not one of the 1000+ posters here. Nice to see you back 'Calgary Flames.'

Nothing, if you have ovaries.
Otherwise, don't come out of the closet about drinking coolers.

Yeah I never really understood why drinking a cooler is such a bad thing if you are a guy.

I dunno REDVAN.. perhaps Jordon brings all this on himself. One of the things about good old Jordon is how he feels he has to express his opinion about everything to everyone. Like someone posting news about the Canadiens in the Flames forum and he goes off about how it shouldn't be in the Flames forum.
I think it's safe to say that everyone is entitled to share their opinion but sometimes you get the feeling that Jordon is just trying to **** a few folks off to get some attention.
And do you honestly think that people ignore posters with under a thousand posts? Come on...

I don't have a problem with coolers.
And I get the issue with him looking for trouble, but I guess I personally don't have a problem with him. I suppose that's because I lurk a lot more than I post. So it's entertaining to see everyone disagree, but we gotta be fair.
And I don't think people with less than 1000 get ignored on purpose... it just happens sometimes.

Let the man drink coolers if he wants! To each his own; it isn't our place to judge manhood based on messageboard chatter. Nonetheless, hilarious stuff and Jordon's opinions, no matter how ludicrous, are always welcome around here, in my books anyway.
Plus I think there's something in the charter of rights & freedoms that says something like "Freedom of speech" followed immediately by "freedom to drink whatever the hell one feels like drinking."

This thread gets 1 star, only cause we don't need anymore drama. Personally, I like what Jordan has to offer.

I don't try to **** anyone off... I just usually have very different opinions than alot of people. I'm not afraid to say anything really... Wow, I had a cooler once... let's all ride that for 3 years. Alot of people here are pathetic. Some people may see it as looking for trouble... The way I see it, trouble finds me, I hardly EVER instigate arguements, more often than not i'm in "Defense mode" Nothing I can do about it...
I'm not going to change and will no doubt get under the skin of even more people... do I care? Helllll no.
Anyhoo, it's unbelievable how petty some people get on this site.
Thanks for the comments Redvan.
btw, you're welcome for that password to buy Season Opener ticket kermit... Makes me wish I bought them myself and gave them to friends or my bro.

I had 1 like 3 years ago... and it was fantastic! Tell me what's better to drink after a long day of roller hockey in mid summer? a frosty cooler? or Milk???
I rest my case.
Seriously though, if you guys want to know what I really drink: Bushmills Irish Whiskey, and Canadian... Almost exclusively.

mmm I love a good cold glass of milk on a hot day after running around, but it leaves me unsatisfied and thus I need another ice cold glass of milk, and another, and so on until I get sick.
Myself I am a Keith's drinker through and through. Mostly.

I don't remember anyone here actually making fun of you for drinking it and being an absolute a-hole about it........I thought it was all in good fun.
If it really bugs you, I won't bring it up anymore, but I just assumed it was one of those CP 'inside' jokes that everyone thought was a pretty good chuckle.....including yourself.

Well I figuered it was an inside joke too, since his name in the hockey pool is cooler junkie. Looked like he was running with the joke.

Well I don't know you and therefore don't have a problem with you. Drink coolers all you want. It's not exclusively a girlie drink. I hate that. I am a girl and I almost exclusively drink Fireball Whiskey. Just drink what you want.

One of my best friends (a guy) drinks coolers (and is not named Jordan). He doesn't like the taste of beer (he's a freak) and argues that coolers actually have more alcohol in them than beer. He goes on to say question why a manly drink would have less alcohol, especially when guys often compete about how much they drink.
That said...
A few months ago dad and I were in the liquor store, we obviously bought beer, but dad wanted to pick up something for mom. He asks me what coolers she'd like, my reply "how would I know, I don't drink coolers". So we ask one of the girls that worked there, she's explaining everything to dad then looks at me "surely you've tried this one or that one" dad gave her a weird look, and I just grinned and said "no, I usually stick to beer"
Coolers are a girl's drink. Is it right? Is it fair? Hell is it even logical? Nope, but that's just the way the chicks wanted it, so we guys, being the nice guys that we are suck it up and drink the manly manly beer.

Its just a known fact. Coolers are a girl drink, beer is a man drink. If a guy drinks a cooler, he will be riduculed by his friends for it, thats the way it is.

So for curiousitys sake then, what about a girl that drinks hard liquor or beer, which have both been claimed as manly drinks? Is she then considered butch?

actually, no. I think it's kinda hot...
if a guy likes figure skating, he'll be made fun of for that by his peers...it's for girls (and the effeminate). if a girl like hockey, football, etc., it's damn sexy.
it's a double standard, but that's just the way it is.
