Thumbs down Flames Lose 2-0 to Leafs

3rd game in 4th nights. Flames were exhausted and Leafs were fired up, and it showed.

Shake it off, bounce back on Monday.

3rd game in 4 nights, sure, but you'd hope the Flames would be able to generate more offense than that... That was pathetic.

Easy shutout for Campbell who hasn't even played in a month due to injury.

Sutter should keep them on the ice and teach them how to get out of our own zone.

Ready for the off-season team needs a major strip down. Don’t want Treliving doing it though.

Tre should be stripped as well.

Just could't get anything going. Split up Monahan and Gaudreau. It's time they got some new line mates, and Ritchie is NOT working anymore. That brief stint is over, he's a 12th/13th forward at best.

Weird game with Rittich letting in goals he shouldn't, and the Flames are lucky this wasn't a blow out. Couldn't get anything going all game, but hey, at least we split mini series 1-1.

Time to take 2 wins against Ottawa now.

Honestly, I think the Flames played a similar game as they did in the win last night.

Biggest difference was we really struggled to get any shot through the traffic onto the net, whereas yesterday we had multiple deflections and screens that lead to goals.

Not much offense being created from the forwards though, which is a concern. Johnny and Monahan continue to look lost at even strength, Ritchie clearly isn't the answer to that line. Nor have Simon, Leivo, Ryan, or Bennett been...

The Flames' last 4 games against Toronto have been pathetic displays of hockey, yet they were somehow able to steal 5 out of 8 points. Gotta take the good with the bad I guess?

However, it's looking like if they do make the Playoffs, they're likely playing the Leafs, so they gotta figure their s*** out against Toronto because this type of quality isn't going to cut it.

Ugly game. Flames will need to sweep the Sens now if they want a hope in hell of saving the season.
