Flames pretty much beat themselves tonight from the start. Brutal turnovers kept ending up in the back of the net and a lack of discipline. Special teams need to be better. Gave up in the third. Sutter is going to be pissed at these guys.
Clean it up.

Take heart and keep faith. If anyone knows their way around a pile of manure it's Darryl Sutter.

We really needed this win. Flames never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

Not going to read too much into this one. It happens. Markstrom was unbelievably horrible and the forwards didn’t score on their opportunities early.

It’s all about how they respond next game.

When you get out-dueled by Mike Smith, you're probably going to lose.

When you get out-dueled by Mike Smith, AND literally every Oilers scoring chance ends up in the back of your net, you get an ugly 7-3 loss.

Turf the flag jerseys already, please.

the score flatters the Oilers. Kudos to them for getting saves and being capitalistic, but they weren't particular good, nor were the Flames particularily bad.

Just don’t lose 3 in a row. We’re boned if that happens.

Special teams and goaltending were horrible.
If you're going to lose, might as well lose big.

Move onto the next one.

Meh, 3/4 wins so far under Sutter.

Stay out of penalty trouble, stay disciplined, and the wins will come. We weren’t going to win them all with Sutter at helm.

Smith also stood on his head for the first 40 minutes. Could’ve easily been a different game if we got another goal heading into the 3rd.
