I wanted players who had ratings and scoring upside this year for the playoff drive. Pearson and Graves do both.

To St Louis

for Jake Debrusk LW, Mario Ferraro D and 2-5ths

Hated to give up Jake and Ferraro, I think both will do well and they have a great future.

Yeah, Pearson is a "go for it now" guy. He'll almost certainly rerate downward but for this year his ratings are excellent. For St. Louis I really like Ferraro. Good long-term piece.
