Introducing Epic Legacy of the Calgary Flames, a large format, limited edition book developed by Epic Legacies Inc. in cooperation with the Calgary Flames, LLC, and Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation.

The first publication of its kind to feature an NHL hockey team, the book chronicles highlights of the club’s entire history; from its beginnings as the Atlanta Flames in the 1970’s to its move to Calgary in 1980, then onward as the Calgary Flames. Included are long-forgotten stories and rarely seen photographs featuring the people, places and events that shaped the club into what it is today.

This looks like a really nice finished product, but unless I'm missing something, I'm having a hard time not finding the $250.00 price tag (before tax) completely outrageous here.

Limited edition plus the interactive aspect makes it very unique.

Its certainly not for everybody and its hard to justify the price point but its rarity is the biggest selling feature which drives the price sky high.

I contacted the site about any promotions or promo codes. They said that there are free gifts on any Home Games and they have created a promo code for Calgary Puck and Reddit.

The promo code is 'wintix' where if we buy a book we get entered into a draw for a pair of tickets each week until the book sales end on Feb 28th.

Your Calgary Flames are having quite the year! At the pace they’re going, it looks promising that the team will make the playoffs and be a contender for the Stanley Cup!

Your Flames Legacy book was scheduled for delivery in June, before the playoffs wind up. We have heard from many fans who have encouraged us to hold off publication in order to include coverage of the 2018-2019 regular season and playoffs, hopefully finishing with a Stanley Cup win!

Our goal is to ensure this once-in-a lifetime publication is the very best it can be. In consultation with the Calgary Flames, we have determined to follow the advice of fans and hold off publication until after the current season. Your book will now include a bonus chapter to commemorate the success of the team this year. We’ll be sure to highlight individual player achievements and include events such as Jarome Iginla’s jersey retirement.

You’ll end up with more book for your money!

Delivery of your book will now be in early October. Your order will still be processed according to when it was received, with the earliest orders receiving the lowest book numbers. We believe you’ll find it’s worth the wait.

I'm thinking of doing a give away of this book and Lanny's autobiography as someone could get some fun and enjoyment out of them.
