Allegiance available
OK...so I need some way to fill all the time I spend procrastinating my school work, and the CPHL did such a good job of it last year that I'm thinking I want to stay involved. Unfortunately, I'll be gone again at the end of April, so I can't really justify getting another team. Therefore, I would like to stick around, not as a member of a fan organization trying to assert the power of the popular vote, as we had last year (amusing, but not what I'm going for), but as just a simple fan posting in favour of my chosen team. I just want someone to cheer for. These things aren't nearly as fun without some sort of self-serving bias.
As such, I need a team to cheer for. This is your chance to earn my allegiance (or possibly emnity). Bribes, I am not interested in. But I would like to know why I should cheer for you. Amuse me. I am available for trade advice, good natured heckling, and other sorts of random comments.

You should cheer for the Wild. The Wild are very "nerd-friendly"

the CPHLFA believes that fan allegiences take away from the spirit of the league of the whole. the CPHLFA believes that Supperfraggle should be a fan of all 32 CPHL teams.

Theres nothing better than seeing a team rise from the bottom to stand on top of the mountain.
Kind of seeing a team at its infantcy grow. :baby:
Tampa needs a fan...
Hell Tampa needs alot of things.
How old are you?
You may be an old man before we are done

I suggest you can be a roving reporter and write up stories at your whim...we always love a good read!

You could always jump on the Crosby / Staal bandwagon here in St. Loo...

The CPHLFA has too many letters in its acronym. The CPHLFA does not have Superfraggle as a member.
I just think that it's easier to find something like this interesting if I have someone to cheer for. Although there's nothing saying I have to restrict my allegiance to one team, I suppose. Maybe I'll follow Cheese's idea, but with a bias for the Nords (always liked them), against the Wild (until he learns to spell Cechmanek properly), and with the opportunity for other teams to earn their places along the way.

You would probably be happiest writing for the Hawks so you wouldn't have to spend so much time pointing out my errors in spelling and grammar.

If you cheer for the Bruins THE Brian Holzinger will come to your house and give you the 'full service' treatment!

If you want to proof read a lot of garbage writeups and articals, the Devils could certainly use your help. I'm also a tech school knucklehead with the English skills of your average grade 9 student. It certainly would allow you to contribute to society, by helping me bring me writing up to an acceptable level. Plus you'd get to point out a lot of mistakes to someone else. Sound like the type of challenge you're after?

I wonder if I'd be able to get more than 18 fans to come to a Vancouver game...poor GM place...it's seen better days!
