RIP Sir Sean Connery
https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-54761824
Sir Sean Connery has died at the age of 90, his family has said.
The Scottish actor was best known for his portrayal of James Bond, being the first to bring the role to the big screen and appearing in seven of the spy thrillers.
...
He was knighted by the Queen at Holyrood Palace in 2000.
In August, he celebrated his 90th birthday.

I watched a couple of his James Bond flicks on tv a month ago. You could tell he was an icon for his time even now. He seemed to have deteriorated pretty quickly in the last 15 years but I never thought the guy was 90. Pretty sad when you see people in their prime on the screen and you hear the news of his passing.

Oh god, sad news. I knew he was old, but had no idea he was 90. A life well lived and with plenty of great memories. RIP.

Damn.. Damn damn damn! My favorite Bond, one of my favorite actors. I too just watched one of his Bond movies this last week, Thunderball. Played that role perfectly and made it the icon it is today! LEGEND

He'll be remembered as Bond, but for my money he was best in The Man Who Would Be King.

It just felt like yesterday when he was running around the streets with Catherine Zeta Jones.

Obviously he kick started Bond but I will always remember him from his outstanding work in his other films ie: Highlander, The Untouchables, Hunt for Red October, Entrapement, Finding Forester, Russia House and, of course, The Rock!
Tons of others but these are just highlights of the top of my head. He is a Legend for sure if not the GOAT.
RIP good SIR.

Damn so sad to hear. Was just talking about him last week, and watched The Hunt for Red October. A true legend, one of the best of all time. A total shame his last movie was that piece of crap LXG.
RIP Sir Connery.
