They did not say that. But with the buyout period over, and Johnson having to agree to a mutual termination, it seems extremely unlikely.

He had a NTC and there were rumors that there were some teams interested that weren't on his trade list.

So this either is a shot fired to get him to expand his list, or some team that was interested but wasn't on his list can just take him for free now.
