He should not have been a priority for the Flames. Can't defend. If Markstrom signs with Flames and if Ward keeps his play structure, Flames will be defense oriented.

I think Flames circle back on Brodie and also look hard at Vatanen.

May have to go trade route for someone like David Savard.

Isn’t he still getting paid by the Rangers for a bit? The cup with the Lightning definitely upped his value, but he is a solid top 4 option.
