Hmmm, I would have liked that contract in Calgary (except for the fact that we have no room for him). Good signing for the Panthers though. They're having a good day so far.

Good price for the Panthers. Decent couple of signings so far by the Panthers. Gudas, Verhaghae, and now Wennberg.

I think he has upside. Feels similar to the Avs adding Burakovski and Nichushkin

I like that move as well. Good bottom 6 forward who may have some offensive potential still. Decent salary and low risk for one year.

Yeah this is fine. I figured he'd be more like 1.5 but it's a one year deal, so that's fine I think. He could definitely bounce back with the talent they have up front.

I don't mind this contract on a one year term. He's got motivation to play for his next deal.
