What I would have expected to be market value. Good decision by Dillion. Some of the second tier players might have a hard time finding a spot/money in the UFA market.

Watched Dillon a lot in SJ. Maybe it was how he was used but he didn’t impact games the last couple years like he did when he first came. Although looking at some stats might help my argument. Anyway...seems like a lot.

He got a size and nastiness premium. On the CP 2020 UFA big board Scorpion had him at #27 and DeMelo at #24 He got an extra 900k x 4 over Demelo.

He would have been a important guy that would change the feel of the Flames... Back to when they could play Engelland significant minutes.
