Looking forward to this series. Lightning need to win it IMO, for Cooper to keep his job. I hope they get booted, so Treliving has a chance to sign him as the coach, (though not sure he would come here, or ownership would pony up cash for a coach of his ilk)

This is the one series that I don't know how to predict. Both teams are elite. Both beat good opponents in the previous round pretty easily. It will come down to strategy, individual performances, and injuries.
One thing is that without Rask, the Bruins no longer matchup well in net. No disrespect to old man Halak, but Vasilevskiy is a Vezina candidate. Slight edge to Tampa Bay, but it's a toss up.

Just like they did in 2011 in that 7 game series. It wouldn't surprise me if that happened again.

Regular-season series: Lightning won 3-1-0 (Bruins 1-2-1).
The games were on Oct. 17, Dec. 12, and March 3 and 7.
Tampa Bay won the round robin game on August 5.
This will be the third time these two teams will play each other in the playoffs. The previous playoff series were in 2018 and 2011.

David Krejci is basically Sam Bennett on steroids. Good in the regular season, godmode in the playoffs.
