is the forum dog slow for everyone today?
I have to click, wait 30 seconds, click again..... is it just me? My other sites seem fine.

Incredibly. Like the game threads as of late (at least for me). Hopefully the slowness we are seeing is something to do with Photon working making the tweaks we need to improve the speediness of the forums (especially for game threads). You'd think you'd notice an increase in speed though, not a decrease. If my speculation is true... Photon, you're doing it all wrong!

I've found this forum slower than the old one altogether. Mind you I'm patient enough to wait an extra few seconds, I'm just happy the page is here at all

It's been much faster till today, today is really slow. Even got a database error message.

Lol you should see my inbox... I think they restarted a server as I all of a sudden got 130 database error emails all at once.

It's sorta up & down. Nice and normal for a few minutes, then I'll wait 30 seconds to get back to the forum. Then back to normal.

Really bad this morning..
I think I may have figured out one thing though, there are a few maintenance jobs that run for the forum and somehow they've been rescheduled to 10:00am.. I'll set those for middle of the morning (3:00am), that should help.
But still this is pretty brutal.

Yeah I turned that on for a few minutes so I could do some admin functions without waiting 5 minutes per refresh. It's now disabled again.
