He’s insane. The difference between choosing 1st (Mackinnon), 2nd (Barkov), and 6th (Monahan) is...yeah. That’s why this team should be tanking over the next few years. No one on the Flames are close to being at Barkov/Mackinnon’s level.

Those ifs were 1/2. The Hurricanes simplt blew the Stars out of their own building, as Carolina wins 5-1.
The Panthers used their third string goalie in relief of Bobrovsky and scored four goals in the third period to win 7-4. Saros faced 54 Panthers shots!

The Panthers-Predators game was crazy. The Panthers came out like gangbusters in the 1st period with a 21-8 edge in shots. Nashville had a 4-3 lead heading into the 3rd period and then Florida took over scoring 4 goals and won 7-4. Huberdeau had 5 points and the Panthers PP was 3/5.
The other high scoring game had the Lightning beating the Bhawks 7-4. Brayden Point with 3 points. Vasilevskiy faced 40 shots from Chicago. The Bolts strong PK was another reason for the win going 6/7.
Big win for the Bruins over the Penguins. The Bruins remain 4 points up on the 5th place Rangers who also won their game over the Sabres. The win has the Bruins just 6 points back of 1st place in the tight east division.
Greiss (33 saves) and Merzlikins (41 saves) both got a SHUTOUT in the BJs 1-0 SO win.
Daniel Sprong scored 89 seconds into the game and that was it for scoring, the Capitals won 1-0. Vanecek with the 18 save SHUTOUT while Sorokin made 32 saves in the Isles loss. Both teams couldn't score on the PP.
