I actually like both these teams, I’ll say go Panthers because, they have a hard enough time.

Bobrovsky looked pretty bad against Tampa...
I don't know, I want the Panthers to win because they're more entertaining. But I feel like this is the sort of situation where Trotz hockey will do well. So, I'll say Islanders in 4 and hope I am wrong.

Florida in 5. I think Barkov will be the best player in this series.

Typical Trotz coached team....got up early and choked off the opposition the rest of the way.
It may not be pretty hockey, but it's pretty damn effective hockey.
Winning ugly is better than losing.

Morning game for the Panthers and Islanders. They are tied in the first few minutes of the first.

Isles score a power play goal to double their lead to 4-2. Just half a period left in this game for the Panthers to come back.

Something not right with the Panthers. Maybe it's time for Dale Tallon to get a pink slip as it seems these days he's more notable for bad UFA signings and sitting in on draft lotteries than anything good.

Haha. Its kind of funny. Tallon became gm, then wasn't gm and then a year later became gm again. And now he should be fired a year later again.

Truculent!

One of the most successful seasons the Panthers ever had was when the "computer boys" had significant influence on how the team was being built. The Panthers suffered a season of low PDO/Poor luck and suddenly Tallon is brought back and proclaims "Thank god i'm back" and the Panthers have steadily gone down hill since that point.

Nope. After they won the division title in 2015-16 they removed Tallon from power, brought in the computer boys and about 20 games into the season fired Gallant. The result was a disaster as they finished 23rd in the league that year. It's been pretty much downhill since that point. Bringing in the computer boys was one of the biggest mistakes the franchise has made (in a long list of big mistakes).

Another sweep potential game early today.. Panthers will try to fight for another day as the Islanders and Panthers face off at 10:00AM MT
Panthers haven’t really found the offense yet this series with only 3 goals in the two games so far.
