What if I told you..
What if I told you, just over a year ago on July 1st 2019
The Flames would win a playoff series IN Edmonton in 2020!
But wait, there’s more!
-Cam Talbot would be the goalie of record in all the games, for Calgary
-Tobias Reider would score a playoff goal, for Calgary
-Milan Lucic would be a force in the series, for Calgary
But wait, there’s more!
-we didn’t even play the Oilers ... we played the Winnipeg Jets.
-with not a single fan in the building for any of the games
-the 50/50 draw was for almost 2 million dollars
-all this happened after our head coach was fired for racial remarks
Any of of these items just on their own would have raised some eyebrows
Just about the only thing that makes sense is Sam Bennett unleashing playoff mode.
Let alone the Oilers paying us cap space to take James Neal, while throwing in Milan Lucic and a 3rd round pick!
