Do I......do I have to vote for someone? Can't we just say they were both equally terrible and call it a day?

I am okay with there being a tie so we can call them both the worst coaches that ever coached.

Whichever you choose, only one was the worst GM/Coach of all time.

Glen Gulutzan couldn't even succeed at being the worst coach in franchise history.

I've been voting for Riser for a bunch of rounds now. He at least was good enough to get the team a real 100 point season without loser points. His work as GM shouldn't really factor in IMO.

As much as I hated Risebrough he was at least better than Gilbert.

But he sure gave it his best shot. He had some tough competition for that title.

Loved Gilbert
There would be 7 coaches I would take before him but still loved him.

After this, we should have a vote for the worst coach.
Everyone not in the top 5 coaches is fair game.

Not sure if we've been down this rabbit hole yet but I'll throw it out here for some of the vets of this group...
What was the issue with Risebrough? I know we all look at him for the Gilmour debacle, taking that out for a minute, why did it not work with him? Did the players just not respond to him? Guy had been here for a while as a player and as an assistant and had a good year in '91 only to loose to EDM in a series that could have gone either way. Was he that bad? Or do we just look at the Gilmour deal as what he's remembered for most?

Wouldn't the loser of this round be considered the worst coach? Wouldn't the worst coach just be this poll in reverse?

With the Bill Peters vs Brent Sutter, I'd say there was a good percentage of voters who voted for Brent just to keep Billy off the board and a lot of people held their nose and threw Bill peters a vote to keep Brent off the board.
So to answer your question: No, it would not be the same.
