Let's be honest, if they name the team the Seattle Kraken the arena will just be known as the Krak House.

Not bad. Ice made from 100%rainwater, the easiest resource to acquire out here in the PNW. Electricity will be provided economical friendly and zero waste policies in place for shows.
This is literally the least Bezos could do with his fortune.

Climate Pledge Arena? Really? From a business that's not exactly environmental friendly and has put the hurt on small business all around the continent?

Still pulling for the Seattle team to be named the Ravens. Makes all sort of sense to me.

how about the virtue signal arena.........here is a climate pledge for bezos - the next time someone orders a collapsible ladder that is already packed in a fairly sturdy box, you likely don't need to put it in an even larger box with some packing paper.

in my case the box was so large it could have held three ladders, some items of clothing, three tubes of disinfectant wipes, and two packs of gumballs

So, really it's your fault for not buying three ladders, some items of clothing, three tubes of disinfectant wipes, and two packs of gumballs.

How could you be so inconsiderate of the environment?

Would have been cool if it was called the "Amazon Loading..." arena

Goal: Have enough money to buy the naming rights to an NHL arena and not even care about putting your own name on it.

You have to admit their packing is excessive. It's always a box in a box or more or boxes 5x larger than they have to be for small items. It's like a tobacco company getting the naming rights and calling it Pure Air Arena.

Bezos probably made enough money in the time frame that this thread has been posted to fund this purchase entirely.

Should just call it the Minimum Wage arena.

Love how hypocritical Amazon is. Talk about Green Washing at it's finest. Publicly advertise about going green, but a crucial part of their success is wasteful polluting with all the additional packaging, boxing, and deliveries required for their business.

The people of Seattle should drop off all of their bubble wrap, plastic and cardboard there for recycling. Surely that wouldn't be a problem for a company as environmentally concious as Amazon.

Better than National Car Rental Center, Gaylord Entertainment Center or Pepsi Center.
