Default GoodLife fitness or Gold's Gym?

As you probably know, some gyms have already opened while places like GoodLife will be next week. I currently am a member of goodlife fitness and have been for the last 11 years.

Through, I'm considering switching over to gold's gym only because I do not like the fact that GoodLife has implemented only an HR workout which you have to book in advance for.

GoodLife is only a block from my work place so it's convenient that I go right after work. I know a gyms have put in restrictions if what you can't use and use but an hour just doesn't cut it for me as I usually like to stretch and do the bike after.

I might consider getting two memberships. One for gold's and one for GoodLife. Do people have more than one gym membership?

Golds filed for bankruptcy protection from creditors in May in the US. I don’t know if that will impact locations in Calgary.

I go to Gold's in Vancouver and like it.
It is however going to have a lot of really jacked up bro type lifters as Gold's is known as a body building gym and attracts that crowd.

Up to you to determine if that's a good or bad thing, but something to consider if the type of members your club has matters to you.

There has been so many bad reviews of their membership policy and not being able to cancel without stupid charges. I'd never sign up there even if they've cleaned up their act. They don't deserve the business.

Find a local gym. GoodLife and Gold's are good but this is a good opportunity to support an upstart without the crowds.
