Reggie Lemelin for me ...
The third string guy to start his career in Calgary, but outlasted them all for a good run, until he struggled mightily against Edmonton.
Thought he was a bygone era stopper but he found it again in Boston (Eastern conference at the time maybe).

Lemelin will be remembered more for what he did in 1988 with the Bruins in that playoff run, but he was a good goalie that could get you into the playoffs on a yearly basis. He was a stable good regular season goalie for Calgary. I think he deserves the honor as the best Flame as 31

Lemelin almost won the Vezina. He had a good stretch, but never gave you that invincible feeling.

yeah- the one year he narrowly loses to a teenaged Barrasso- Pat Riggin is 3rd (tied with his teammated) then comes Dan "not as a good as Phil Suave" Bouchard right behind him
the next year Lemelin is 3rd with Riggin right behind again- I had forgotten the high regard Riggin was held in but then again Washington was a solid defensive team in that era

Reggie all the way. I remember being at the 1984 Canada Cup game at the Dome, Canada vs. Czechoslovakia. When Reggie led Team Canada onto the ice at the start of the game, the place went nutso.

The day they signed Cujo was one of my top fandom moments, but Tabaracci did more for my team and was my hero as a kid. Tough one for me, even though I know neither of them will get, or deserve, this title.

I got Reggie Lemelin’s autograph at my first NHL game. Dad took me down to the bench during warm up. I had made a Go Flames Go sign, so my dad handed it to one of the Flames’ equipment guys. Within minutes they handed it back with Reggie’s signature. Hard to believe any player, let alone a starting goaltender, would do that pre-game nowadays.
The Flames beat the Whalers that evening by a score of 4-1.

Lemelin for me. He was always that good goalie who could never quite get over the hump into excellent territory. Still, many very good years of service in the early 80s.
Tabaracci was a consideration, as was Ramo, but Lemelin wins for tenure.

Interestingly Wamsley and Ramo played the identical number of games in a Flames uniform, with Tabby just a little bit behind- 3 very different eras and teams in front of them but each has a case for 2nd behind Reggie who played about as much as the other 3 combined

I don’t know much about the older players, so was considering between the newer crop of goalies. Went with Ramo.

I saw 31 and my first thought was Wamsley, the best backup we've ever had.
Then I started looking at the list from most recent and I thought that Ramo had a strong case. Then I got to Lemelin and it is a hands down decision here.

Cujo only for the shut-out in the comeback win against San Jose after Kiper gave up 4. Sarich hit changed the tide, but Cujo kept us in it
One of the best games I've ever been to

I went with Ramo just because of how much I loved his Raven mask

Assuming you mean post Covid your right. In the “before times” it was still happening on occasion. Our seats are near the visitor tunnel and there are always kids supporting the team with signs. They get pucks flipped to them frequently.
At the Arizona game in March just before the break (that seems so long ago now) as OEL was skating off there were some kids around. He flipped pucks and then said to the one clearly very introverted kid with a crude drawing. OEL says “do you want my stick?” He got a nod and then said “wait, I’ll sign it.” A few minutes later out comes the stick and the kid goes away with a lifelong memory like yours.
The last few years The Flames haven’t let fans down to the lower level for practices which is too bad. The players would always sign jerseys and pucks for the kids. I bet a lot less of that will happens now. As you say, no player will grab a random pen from someone and sign their jersey or puck with it right now.

Cujo had one of the best masks in NHL history but I have a tough time voting for a guy who didn’t even play 10 games for the Flames.
