He is a great guy, back in the day I played Pee-Wee AAA in Grande Cache AB where Dean is from and our goalie was his cousin and his uncle coached us.

During the ‘94-‘95 lockout he helped out at our practices waging us laps vs some ridiculous feat such as if you two 13 year old defensemen can stop me I’ll skate 2 laps but if you can’t YOU skate 5.

One of the amazing things about the 2004 playoff run was that two of our top-six forwards in McAmmond and Reinprecht missed the entire playoffs due to injury. I think Deano was our #1 LW during the regular season.
