Ducks trade for Connor
Simmer and 3Thirty were in some lengthy negotiations over the weekend and ended up losing out on Rantanen.
While unfortunate, landing Kyle Connor as a 2nd option is not a bad one.
I was actually a bit surprised, Connor had 38 goals in this most current season and 73 pts.
Anyways, the deal broke down as follows

J. Norris
J. Veleno
TO DUCKS
K. Connor
$1M Cheese
Norris was the key prospect here in the deal. The Sens have a lot of forward spots available and Norris was stellar in his first year in the AHL. I'd anticipate him having a strong year for the Sens.
Veleno was solid at Team Canada and while a few years away, is still a good prospect.
