Flames Practice notes March 3 - Lindholm maint. Hamonic skating on his own.

Interesting to see Bennett up on the top line. Makes me think Lindholm is questionable for tomorrow.

Derek Wills @Fan960Wills
Elias Lindholm MIA from #Flames practice. Thankfully, the trade deadline has passed and this tweet will not cause a s*** storm.

Unrelated to today's practice, but this pisses me off. What did Wills expect when he tweeted, on f'n deadline day, "Gaudreau just left the ice" like an hour after tweeting how he would update us all if anyone left abruptly given the day.

The he goes back and brings it up and sarcastically hopes it doesn't cause a #### storm? D-bag.

Or, the "####storm" is related to the pee issue, both being bathroom matters, and he was making a joke.

Nope. He caused a ruckus on Twitter with what was at best a poorly worded tweet on a day when every fan is on high alert and then he goes back to it and basically blames the fans for overreacting.

Might just be me but Wills seems a little weird. Almost Scott Oake-like.

We wouldn’t want to get two shut outs in a row now would we?

Jermain Franklin @TSNJFranklin
#Flames Lindholm was given a maintenance day Tuesday and he is expected to be in the line up Wednesday night vs Columbus.

Wow this coaching staff is the only staff in the whole nhl that sits a goalie after a shut out. Talbot must regret signing here.

But for Talbot Flames lose to Florida.

Ward knows that, right?

FFS, why Rittich not Talbot? That is frustrating. Hopefully one of our goalies figures out how to play at home.

Looks like Talbot seemingly has a habit of spectacularly crapping the bed next start after a shutout.

Man, what a stupid decision by the coaching staff. I'm sure Flames have the luxury of letting Rittich work himself out of the funk. The potential 2 points are just secondary.

It seems like the team laid out a clear schedule for the goaltending on who starts when. So far they don't seem to have any desire to deviate from that plan.

If one guy is clearly outplaying the other it seems prudent to adjust the schedule, otherwise stick with it, so both are ready for the playoffs?

Rittich hasn't been awful, but his play has been trending in the wrong direction. Maybe its not enough to go against the plan. I guess on the other side of things, you could go back to Talbot, he lays a giant egg then we're all cursing the decision.

Sure would be nice if a guy grabs the net though.

When Hamonic returns...what happens?

Giordano - Brodie
Hanifin - Andersson
Forbort - Hamonic
Kylington - Gustafsson
Stone, Yelesin

...or does Forbort come out and Gustafsson stays in? Heavy on the D. So much D.
