Pesce just took a slapshot off the wrist and started bleeding profusely and had to be rushed off.

Hughes just got walked by Pesce in close right in front of Demko but Demko was able to stop the eventual cross crease chance.

It's going to be interesting watching the situation unfold in Columbus now that Korpisalo is back traveling with the team, though not suiting up just yet. He's projected to be ready mid-February, but Merzlikins has been very good filling this gap going on a 9-2-0 run since he got injured.

On one hand, Tortorella has shown to be loyal to his guys, but on the other hand, he's also very 'what have you done lately?' so it wouldn't surprise me if he continues to go with Elvis as the starter until he falters, which hasn't happened yet.

the difference is they are entertaining the fans and not taunting the losing team.

it may be stupid but not disrespectful.

what other goaltender has thrown his stick after a shootout win, does snow angels or kisses his posts?

even a showboat like Smith felt disrespected by what Rittich did lol.

Nah, Rittich is great. I love every silly thing he does. The only people who dislike his antics are the Oiler homers on SN.
