Some interesting storylines in Florida tonight.

The team has struggled lately, so Coach Q shook up the lines vigorously, leading to some instant dividends.

Playing his 500th game tonight, Jonathan Huberdeau has scored his 400th point on the back of 4 assists, mostly of the elite variety. Guy is on fire.

The biggest beneficiary has been his new winger Noel Acciari, scoring a hattrick in this game off of Huberdeau's great setups. This is big because Acciari has already surpassed his goal totals from last year but also because I'm not sure he's ever had a multi-goal game in his career. His teammates were pumped to see him get the rat...er...hattrick.

Panthers lead the hapless Senators 5-1 near the end of the 2nd.

That’s a 2 minute penalty?

Great job refs.

If you only listened to Quinn and Remenda, you would swear the Oilers were undefeated and never did anything wrong.

Hey! As I was typing the sentence above, I made a mistake and realized if you accidentally typed a T at the front and a T at the end instead of the r and s, Oilers becomes Toilet. Coincidence? I think not.

For such an amazing skating team, those Oilers sure fall down a lot.

Dallas looked pretty bad in that period.

So much diving. Oilers are now on powerplay #4 just three mins into the second period.

Just watched the last 5 minutes of the blues avs 2nd period. Just a pleasure visually. Blues were dominating, but everything was done so fast and with so much intensity. Central division final is going to be great...even if Dallas rudely interrupts

Trochek is a really underrated centre in the league, but I don't know how he managed to not even get a point by accident when his linemates combined for 7.

That's two in a row even Remenda doesn't agree with.

No desire to go to the tough areas at all, just shooting from the perimeter.

And missing on their passes a lot.

Yeah, they can't move the puck effectively to save their lives. They look fast and physical, but can't make or receive passes at all in this game.

The Blue Jackets contained all of the Capitals star players. Columbus won 3-0!

HDCF% 9-3 for the Stars

Don't let the score fool you, the Oilers are still no good.
