Still wish he had walked away. Some people have a hard time leaving the game behind, though, and he does have medical clearance.

And you gotta love that hair!

I dont believe Tedy is the type of person that would make this decision without coverin all the bases with his family, his doctors and ultimately with himself. You cant help but admire the dedication.

Tedy is my fav player, I still wear his jersey every Sunday or gameday and cant wait to see him back in action

So good to see. Why would you wish he walked away Hab? He's only 32 years old, lots of good football left in him.

because he had a stroke. After three Suberbowls, what's left to prove? Another good hit to the head and he's done.

Ya I guess. Maybe he just loves the game that much though? He has nothing to prove to anybody, he just wants to play for the love of the game. My heart aches every year in mid-August because I feel like I should be in training camp. And its been 11 years since I strapped on the pads, but it still gets me every year. Labour Day weekend kills me, because that was traditionally the start of the CIS season when I played. Wait, did I have a point? Oh ya. The love of the game runs pretty deep, is all.

I hear ya, but what about the love of your wife and kids? It won't be much fun for them if they have to clean up your drool or feed you for the rest of your life because you're not capable anymore.

But if multiple doctors cleared him, and he passed multiple physicals, what else do the people who are supposed to know about whats right for their patient have to say? I mean, I understand the argument that he has nothing left to prove, but at the same time, if he's medically cleared then he should be 100% fine.
