I like how CBC's narrative is the Jets overcame a controversial Flames' goal despite the Jets benefitting from phantom calls all night.

That's what happens when you're a slow team. Jets were able to make a 2 on 1 out of nothing.

The next time a line dumps and changes they should be sat and catching a cab home. Had the game under complete control until Gaudreau-Lindholm-Tkachuk didn’t feel like putting in the effort on a forecheck

Even a flyby would have been enough

Meh. Glad we don’t have to watch this brand of hockey for awhile. These outdoor games are just brutal to watch.

Thought the Flames outplayed the Jets for the majority of the game. Maybe a lack of chemistry held the Flames back from producing more though with the new jumbled lines.

The penalty in OT was a complete joke, as was only giving Lowry 2 for his dangerous boarding at the horn.

Derek Ryan is a good player. Matthew Tkachuk is a good player. But both guys needed to show way more hustle in that overtime period.

Otherwise, good game.

I feel it was an okay game but I didn't like the 3rd period shell. Still almost pulled it off until that call on Gio when the officials decided to intervene. I would love to know why Ryan stopped skating briefly on the winner. That was bizarre.

Oh well, whatever.

Thought the Flames didn’t play all that badly and there seemed to be some histrionics going on in the game thread at the end there.

Cool event and enjoyable evening even though they lost.

Hey Bill, when all the best players are rested, you don’t have to put Derek Ryan on the ice in OT. In fact, unless something really unusual happens, you never ever, ever have to put Derek Ryan on the ice in OT.

Flames just keep treading along, being all mediocre and stuff. Things just seem kinda stale right now. 1 win, 1 loss it feels like. We need a shakeup.

Way too much sitting back in the 3rd, far too undisciplined(though it seems like the refs remembered the Wideman incident again all of a sudden too) So many weak, soft calls(and not just on the Flames).... what a horribly frustrating start to the season.

I like the 5v5 lines and hope we stick with them.

It’s become clear this team won’t win jack #### if we don’t shake something up big time
