I liked the Johnny cross check on his last shift.

Gaudreau has been awful lately

Absolutely the biggest factor preventing this team from winning

THIS team couldn't beat the PeeWee team in my hometown. Hopefully some other team shows up soon.

Yikes. Probably the worst effort of the season? Not much to say about this one. The Flames better bring it tomorrow. No excuses.

At least we scored.

Flames will never win a thing as long as Sean Monahan is their #1 center

Disappointing. Oh well. Head to Anaheim and play a heck of lot better tomorrow.

Rasmus playing with some snarl. Loved Gio launching himself into the pile. Talbot looked ok.

Not much else positive to say about tonight.

Great patience by Backs on the penalty shot. And that's pretty much the only positive tonight, other than Rittich and Talbot both playing well. Overall, that's easily the worst this team has played this year.

Hopefully this embarrassment will light a fire under their lazy arses. I expect we'll see a much different team tomorrow night. But it'll be a tough test, as the stupid Ducks are playing well, and well...it's the f'n Honda Center. That place is cursed.

Hard to be good when he's trying to carry 210 lb Monahan on his back

Horse####.

But the flames are going to have a hard time without another big ticket weapon up front.

It's funny, because I think Monahan has been staggeringly better than Gaudreau lately

Johnny has just been a complete non-factor lately. He looks like he did right after his holdout. Absolutely no poise with the puck in the slightest.

At least both goalies looked good.

1-3-1 vs the Pacific so far.

Brutal offseason, meh preseason, bad first 10% of the year.

Not saying that they can't turn it around, but the flames turning a great season last year, into a highly mediocre one the next year, is about as a Calgary Flame thing this franchise can do.
