Default Blues Stanley Cup rings unveiled

Really well done.

Quote:
Signifying the number of postseason victories earned along their path to the Cup, 16 genuine, custom-cut blue sapphires are intricately arranged on the ring top, forming the Blue Note logo. In an astounding display of precision, each is delicately shaved within millimeters for an exact fit inside the logo's yellow gold outline. Also highlighted in yellow gold are the words, STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS, accented with custom blue antiquing.

Quote:
The results of each playoff series and the opponent's logo are engraved along the interior of the ring, as is the Blues logo. Directly beneath the logo, each player has their personal signature engraved. Also engraved is the name LAILA, which is found along the interior of the palm. A season-long source of inspiration, Laila played a central role in the championship journey shared by the organization and fans. The palm crest reads PLAY GLORIA in a nod to the legendary team rally cry.

How do you fit Bouwmeester in that space?

The blue/gold/diamonds look fantastic. The crowd figures look a little strange though.

Yeah, without the weird crowd, that is one of the nicer championship rings I’ve seen.

Yeah looks like they pulled them from The Walking Dead.

And yeah, that's far too much detail IMO.
The ring is for the players first and foremost. This one tries to hard to be a fan marketing/PR ring and covert every aspect of the run last year.

If I was making it the B and O will be really big, then I'll realise I'm running out of space and make the U and W super skinny, and finally I'll realise that still isn't enough space and make the MEESTER incredibly tiny to fit.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

I love how obnoxious championship rings are. The colour scheme works well for these.

I wish I had one, then I could obnoxiously wear it. I guess that's the point, ehh?

I think it actually might be good to make a ring players would causally wear. I think these will just get displayed, understandably. But you see old time guys wearing their rings which, while big, are not so big they can’t be worn.

Sharp?

They're so over-the-top and gaudy it borders on offensive. I get it, that's what they're for, to display and not wear but they're about as sharp as a rubber spatula.

I'm a little bothered that the NHL and refs allowed them to mug their way to the Cup. They knew the refs would only call so many penalties. Do we want to reward this kind of play?
