Plus, if Debrincat has another big season, that will be 3 in a row and doing a contract now likely avoids a much more expensive one next year.

Blackhawks seem to enjoy signing RFAs before the season even ends, for better or for worse.

Good deal for someone who scored more than 40 goals last year.
