Where Should I Store My Stuff

So who has had a good experiance with a self storage facility?

4 times in the last 8 years I've used Blackfoot Self Storage. They are just north of 42nd ave on Blackfoot. I found them when moving back to Calgary in 1996; they were the only place still open at 7:30 at night for me to do a quick drop off.

It's an old warehouse, so there's huge carts for moving stuff, and a freight elevator if you get a spot on the 2nd floor. There's a loading dock in case you are using a truck to move as well.

There's nothing spectacular about it; in fact it's a plain building. However I've never had a customer service issue, and they are pretty reasonable for price.

there is a self storage place just outside of Airdrie..I dont know what end of the city you will be looking in, but if you are in the north end, they are way cheaper than anyplace in calgary. They have this nifty keycode thing that you can enter at almost any time......

I had some stuff at the U-Haul place in the North East for a about a year before. It was a good cost and nothing was touched, and everything was fine and dandy when I got it out 12 months later. U-Haul are usually pricks, but their storage was fine.

StorageMaxx in the SE isn't too shabby. You can get at your stuff 24/7, and they give you deals if you prepay.
