The organization itself is declining to comment, but there is word tonight that Seattle’s NHL expansion team is closing in on naming Ron Francis as its first GM. We’ll see how events unfold the next few days; things have been percolating the last few weeks.

Nice, I think he got a raw deal in Carolina when Dude-Bro McOwner pants took over.

Makes sense. I don't think Mike Gillis or Dave Nonis were really in it.

Ken Holland probably took on the tire fire in Edmonton after being ruled out in Seattle.

Smart choice. He never got to see the fruits of his labors in Carolina. I suspect we will all curse his name for being so good soon enough.

Edited for the mispelling of took. Tom Dundon looks like a total Dude-Bro. And is a very handsy owner. McOwner pants. Hope that clears it up.

Thats gotta be more STHs than Carolina, Arizona and Florida combined.
