Another good defensive play by Ryan in the final seconds there. Really like him in his own end.

Outshot more than 2:1 but still win. Is this the sign of an elite team? The can win when outshooting or getting outshot. They can win 2-1 games and 7-6 games. They can comeback and hold leads. Still lots of season left but the team looks so good.
Rittich was so good tonight. One somewhat iffy goal but made huge saves when we were getting dominated. Johnny is just out of his mind good right now and the captain has to be the leading Norris favorite thus far. Zebulon/Hanifin continue to make the GM look like a genius and Andersson should never see AHL ice again.
The shot clock isn’t what you want to see and they let their foot off the gas in the last minute but I’ll give the team a break since most teams come out flat the first game after a road trip, and they still picked up the W.
