Meh, what he did after the semifinal game kinda justifies it. Throwing his helmet and giving the crowd an “eff you” and the finger as he’s going off the ice isn’t exactly classy himself.

He’s was getting a silly award just after he lost the chance at what is a milestone moment in his life...quite justified in giving zero ####s about getting that award. Then he gave an eff you to the crowd who was booing him at the time....it wasn’t just out of the blue.
Give these kids a break, they’re not seasoned professionals and shouldn’t be expected to always make the perfect choices. But to boo the kid in the subsequent game, that’s shameful!
Google translate, which isn't perfect but you get the gist:
Spoiler!
Greetings to all hockey fans, thank you for your great support. I have a great deal of news, I appreciate it. He's sorry we did not catch up. I would like to thank Captain Fehervary and also Liška and Krivošík, and thanks to him I did not go home and went to the World Championships. Bokroš, who did not want to take me to the World Cup, even after the hot line, apparently with Šatan (Šatan got an echo that I will not be included in the nomination for the World Championship and Bokros has "ordered" that the most productive USHL player must be nominated) he tried to get rid of them through the boys (but completely sick). But at the meeting they stopped me, they wanted to have me in the team, I appreciate it very boys.
I would like to express myself personally through my official FB website and not through paid articles as Bokroš remembered, whether before or during the World Cup. I write as I say - sorry for stylistics J - but now it's content not form.
Let's go from the beginning .. as I came to Nanaimo, I played on Friday, Saturday in the club and on Sunday morning I got up at 4:00. The whole day I traveled, it took me about 6 hours to fly to Nanaimo. I have not eaten the whole day because I once crossed over and did not have time to eat. I thought Mr. Ulehla (manager) would be waiting at the airport. I call him ... nothing gets up, then I call the player, only the ones that were already in the stadium did not have a mobile phone. After an hour and a half, Krivošík replied that Pospec, manager Ulehla, said I should take a taxi and come to the stadium. I came to the stadium and the manager told me that he did not miss a missed call and I say that he should call me to make sure everything is cool and if I am already. Why is there a fracture?
Well, I came to the stadium, we had training for half an hour and I was skating after the day of the day. I came on Sunday and then we had two-phase training on Monday and Tuesday and we had a match against Czechs on Wednesday. We played the game and the next day I had a meeting with the coaches, and Mr. Bokros said to me that he was not happy with my performance, that I was doing what I wanted on the ice and that he did not look like he was with me yet. He said he is still in a match tomorrow with Canada, and then he decides, but I'm sick just the next morning. I did not feel fit and I did not want to force it because I got 10 days antibiotics so I told him that I did not feel like playing today and Mr. Bokros told me "I have to decide today today and if you do not play today, then you can not take ". I said I was right to respect your decision. That's what I called home to my parents, that I flew to my home tomorrow, but only then I had a meeting with the captain and the assistant, and they wanted me to think I should be relaxed and down to fit the MS.
Well, and finally, Mr. Bokros gave me three days off and left my team. He was struggling with the Americans ... we had a morning breakdown and before the start he asked for the first time how I feel and I say that he was very well after those days and he answered that you would play with Krivošík and Ruzicka and that I paid the card and I looked at him, I do not know if I was going to laugh or cry what the main coach of the team told me. I do not know if he wanted to be funny, but it came to me completely miserable. Then he put me on the wing. I wanted to play as a center, of course, but then I did not take the power ... so I said I will play on the wings. All the communication during MS was terrible, how bad the mood was in the team, it just can not be described. Huckal captain and assistant to take and so did some other players and the comedy they showed at each meeting so it was horrible as before the players quarreled or said something to each other so I did not understand. Totally stupid. Or as they communicated a complete amateurism among themselves. I have not experienced it anywhere, I only regret the assistant of the coach of Chavez that he has to work among such people. The only one he could positively tune in every day of the players and tried to encourage the team and we can not even speak about the game system .. just against the Russians, Finns, the Swedes playing back, or being in the middle band was pure madness, that when they stood in the middle of the pitch, it was hard to stop in the middle zone when they were at full speed. But when, for example, we started to attack actively, the defending team made a mistake and gave us a lot of pucks and we had a chance.
I did not want to believe the elder brother Kristián and Michal when they told me what Bokros was about the creature, what happened a couple of years ago to Kristián in the World Cup and how he humiliated him and immediately after the first game (he cowered over the others to play in Canada) and warned me about it, but I did not trust him that the coach I would have behaved like this to the players and tried it on my own skin and places, I was slow to forget to play hockey for my own surprise.
I write it in order to get a little conscious about the union and to do something about it, and do not let this happen next year. It's terrible when you're 19 years old and you have to deal with that in
I wonder if this brings change to the Slovakian program or ends up having Pospisil blacklisted by the Slovakian Hockey Federation

Yeah, let’s just excuse horrible behaviour that sets a terrible example for kids watching. It just perpetuates poor behaviour in the future.
You’re right though, booing probably is too far given they’re just kids.

Cut the soap opera drama act. Kids see 1000x worse behaviour every day in music videos and other media platforms. This guy is teenager, booing him for “not acting exactly right” is disgusting. He’s a kid, who boos a kid?!?!

Yeah, I said that booing is too far.
But ya, who cares cause there’s worse out there!! Let’s not hold these players to any kind of sportsmanship standard because kids can just watch YouTube and see worse!
4. If an attacking player stands or holds his stick in the goal crease when the puck enters the goal net, unless he has been physically interfered with, by the action of any defending player so as to cause him to be in the goal crease when the puck enters the goal net, unless if in the opinion of the Referee, he had sufficient time to get out of the crease.

He’s 19 and playing in a professional men’s league. Not exactly a ‘kid’.
