I think I may be coming down with a cold... Just in time for my trip to Vegas (leaving Thursday).
My usual advanced remedy is plenty of ORANGE juice, and a 3x/day dose of vitamin C. Sometimes, I also eat a clove of garlic chopped up & downed like a pill.
Can anyone vouch for Cold FX? Is it worth the $14 for the one time regimen?

Ive used it and I (atleast believe) that its saved me from a couple of colds already. If it doesnt prevent your cold, it will atleast shorten it.....as long as you take it as soon as possible. As in now. Run to the drugs store. Forget the pants, just go man!

I am all about the Cold FX. I don't know if it works or if I've simply fooled my body into believe so but since i've started taking it I've definately had less colds and fought some off. The key is you have to take it as SOON as you feel something coming on.

Everyone I've ever talked to swears by it. I always laughed because I'm always skeptical of such cure-all sorts of things.
But last week I felt a cold coming on and a co-worker supplied me with the goods, and the cold hasn't been able to take hold of me. I might be made into a believer yet.

Cold FX works. I swear by it and am currently taking it preventatively because my wife said she thought she may be coming down with a cold. I feel fine.
BTW, don't buy the blister pack of 18 pills. Buy the bottle as it is a much, much better deal. For 20 bucks you get 60 pills as opposed to $13 bucks for 18 pills with the blister pack.

Well, I went with the blister pack (because there were no responses to my thread when I left).
If I fend off this cold, I'll get a bottle of 60 for the next emergency.

A couple years, and thousands of people hooked, and they'll be filling those bottles with sugar pills.
The placebo effect is pretty strong...and (if) when people realize they don't work on thier colds anymore, they won't blame the pill, they'll blame it on those "new" strains of cold bugs.
Now thats smart commerce.

Possible, but the science behind the pill is pretty interesting.
It is basically just the 2 most active ingrediants in Ginsing, isolated and concentrated, and put into a capsule.
The chinese have used it for ~2000-5000 years. I am guessing that use started when it did a better job then any other plant or remedy in their environment. And they are still using it! That is a pretty long trial run...

Seems to work pretty good for my wife. Not cheap, but definately worth not having a sniffling & hacking spouse every 3-4 weeks.
I just wish I could get it on prescription so that I can claim the purchases on my health plan.

I have some on my desk at work right now....and it's worked for me the past 3 colds, either reducing the effects or getting rid of them altogether.

Stuff works wonders. But the pricing of it seems to confuse me to no end. Superstore has it for like 18 bucks but I go to EVERYWHERE else and it's about 22-27 dollars. Odd really.....

Well, it's been 2 days since I started chowing the pills & I'm not sick. Cold FX has made me a believer.
For the record, I also chowed a tube of those effervescent vitamin c pills in the last 48 hours.
