wranglers Alan Quine assigned to Stockton

per the AHL transactions page

Looks like the Flames currently have 12 forwards.

Could see another call up before the next game or perhaps activate Mangiapane off IR.

Beat me to the punch.

He has impressed in his time up here and expect to see him again before seasons end.

thought he was pretty good mostly... probably thinking about that giveaway, but i don't think that was the only reason he got sent down...

I know this transaction has everything to do with numbers only, but his body language on the bench after that giveaway looked like that of a man who knew consequences were looming...

Bad giveaway aside, I think Quine did himself quite a few favours while called up. He was pretty darn good in his role.

This is a little surprising. Yeah, yeah, one bad play, but he was very good while up.

Keeping the rotation going probably. It’s important to give everyone a taste and I think it’s a development philosophy that was missed from the last few management regimes. Who do we see coming up from Stockton next?

Slim margin for error, huh?

Kidding aside he played well though, great depth.

So who are they calling up? Need someone.

Good depth player to have in stockton. Did some real nice things in limited ice time (giveaway aside).

Heat play tonight. The scratches should give us an insight as to who they might call up.

He's looked great from the highlights I've caught.

11G + 11A in 28 games for Stockton.

Team is scheduled to practice today too so maybe we see someone on the ice like a Mangiapane or whoever.

I thought he has done a pretty damn good job all things considered. The turnover was brutal but he has done a lot more good than bad.

Not going to raise hell over this, but thought he deserved to stay up. Oh well, next man up!

Flames play the Canucks next. They have Gudbranson and Roussell.

Expect to see Peluso called up and in the line-up.

Peluso will get his 5 minutes and Gaudreau, Lindholm, Tkachuk, Bennett will take up the rest of the 10 minutes Quine was getting.

I expect Quine back up and Peluso sent back down after.

I wonder if it's Spencer Foo's turn.

Lazar has played well, by all accounts. In addition, Mangiapane is slightly better than PPG, and Dube is PPG exactly (but only one goal). But they might give Graovac a look, because, like Quine, he hasn't had a chance yet.
