I think its pretty safe to say that the BC Lions will win this year's Grey Cup. They are head over heels, better than the other teams. I'd even go as far saying, that this year's BC Lions would probably be able to compete with a lot of the lower ranked NFL teams (with Printers in the line-up).

Wow you make yourself look even more intelligent every time you post one of these beauty's. Maybe if the bad NFL team had to use Printers as their QB the Lions would be able to last 2 series before they were two touchdowns behind. Teams in the CFL would be hardpressed to beat an NFL practice team with a few backups let alone a team with any of it's starters. No offence to CFL players, but they're playing in hopes of getting to the NFL someday, not because they want to be here.

I think Hamilton just gave the Eskimo's a great shot at the Grey Cup by trading them Troy Davis. If the Eskimos can establish any balance on offence they'll be a much improved team. I'm a Lions fan, but I have a feeling that this years team is going to choke. If Dickenson could stay healthy I'd be a lot more confident in the Lions, but when he's not in there....They can't score enough to make up for their lack of a kicker.

Calgary over Edmonton

I'm not sure how well BC's going to do right now. DD's out with a concussion, and they're now starting a rookie, which as we all know, is much different from when he comes in relief. Luckily for BC they signed Clinton Greathouse...he'll be good as their PK. I loved Wally during his tenure here and hated to see him go, but how many times has he coached a great reg season team, only to disappoint in the playoffs? Hopefully for BC, DD comes back soon. Casey Printers won't see the field for the rest of the season. One thing BC has shown throughout this season, despite their record, they're quite beatable.

Saskatchewan? They have a chance as long as Kenton Keith keeps being utilized. Marcus Crandell won't win Sask any games...but KK will.

I don't see Edmonton making a huge splash. They have the talent, but incompetent coaching will bring them down.

Calgary - all depends on which Henry Burris shows up...if it's the man that can perform well under pressure, look out! If it's the one that will make the throw into triple coverage...look out!

I think all teams in the west have a shot at this point (except for Winnipeg)....it all depends on how they're playing going into the playoffs. We should see a team from the west cross over to the east, and that team will have as good as chance as anyone. Any six of the playoff teams can take it this year.

Edmonton - Toronto. It was my prediction at the start of the season and I'll stick with it. BC will choke away the western final at home. Bad time to have kicking troubles in BC.

Who would I like to see? Winnipeg over BC. (I'm going to the game with a Lions fan.)

In all seriousness, I think it will be BC representing the West. For the East, I hope it's either Toronto or Calgary. If it's Toronto, I then have a good reason to cheer for BC. If it's Calgary, the season ticket holder in me will take over and start cheering for the Stamps. (As I do in all Stamps home games- with the exception of the Bombers of course.)

Oh boy...
Now, I'm a big football fan (both NFL and CFL) but I love the CFL. If I had a choice, I'd watch a CFL game over an NFL game 49 out of 50 times. But this comment of yours is just plain ludicrous. The best players in the world play in the NFL and that's that. Next thing you'll tell us is the Manitoba Moose could probably finish middle of the pack if they were in the NHL.

And how the he!! would Printers find time to throw the ball if he's too busy on the sideline yacking on his cell phone.

As for the original point of this thread. Montreal is coming on but they give up too many big plays on D. TO would be fighting mid-pack if they were in the west. I'd love to see the west cross-over team come out of the east. But, I think TO will come out of the east.

In the west, I think the team that hosts the west semi-final will be in the GC. Have an equal 33% chance of guessing who will that be. Calgary-Edm-Sask??? Big game next week in Edm against Sask. Huge game in 2 weeks with Cgy vs Sask. Not to be outdone, Cgy plays Edm last week of the year! The CFL scheduler got something right this year...

So, after all that, my prediction (wild guess) = Sask-TO Grey Cup.

Stamps 32 Eskimos 30.

Last play of the game. The kick is up from 49 yards... "And the revamped Stamps are champs again!!"

MVP - Jeoffrey Reynolds
Outstanding Canadian - Scott Coe. His late pick sets the Stamps up for the winning drive.

Attendance - 59542
