Game Takes:
Flames 9 Jackets 6

- Monahan and Gaudreau both net four points
- All four goalies play
- Flames win and that is all

So the Flames had more goals than high danger scoring chances? Which of their goals didn't count as high danger chances?

I think you're looking at the 5 on 5 high danger chances (9-7 in favour of CBJ). But total high danger chances favoured the Flames, and were presumably greater than 9.

While winning 9-6 isn't spectacular, it's light years better than losing 9-6.

Chalk it up as a win and move on tot he next game.

Contenders need to win ugly sometimes. And that was certainly ugly.

Calgary had 7 high danger chances five on five, 9 overall in the game, and scored three powerlay goals.

It's nice to see the PP being the difference in games like this in 2018 vs 2017, 2016.....
