interesting presentation, although its a little too "school-project" quality for me to believe its message just yet. I have always wondered about where the plane went myself however...the whole pentagon thing has been a bit of a mystery no doubt about it. However if there never was a passenger plane, where did the missing passengers go?

I dunno about that one...a jet airliner travelling over 500 mph with 5000 gallons of airplane fuel that crashes through 4 walls is going incinerate pretty much everything around it. I suspect the wreckage that can't be seen is embedded in someones desk a few hundred feet from impact.

An interesting theory, though.

Hmm... definitely has some interesting points. I was actually in the Pentagon in October 2003. On the tour, we went to the spot where the plane hit the building, and i was able to touch the glass window that was supposedly the first thing hit when the plane entered the building. At that spot now there is a memorial to those Pentagon employees who were killed.

Not too sure what to believe, but the Pentagon tour seemed fairly convincing that a plane had indeed hit it, though the matter wasn't really dwelled upon.

So what does he think punched a hole through the rings with the outer ring being the most damaged. A missile would not do that. Usually it will puncture, then explode. Very localized damage.

A lot of those quotes seem fishy to me. I like the ones with the flight school. Of course the instructors that trained the terrorists are going to say they weren't good pilots. Don't want to make themselves look any worse.

He's forgetting some key points.
1) The pictures of inside the pentagon were probably taken after the plane peices were removed (if any were left).
2) Plane structures are made of aluminum and are very thin. A fire can simply melt down any parts that survived the crash. (except carbon fiber and high temp grade steels).

Very high school material. Come on you have unknown people who state that it sounded like a missile. Huh I can guarentee you that those people have never and I mean never heard a missile in their life, they don't make much sound from my experiences working on the CLAWR.

By the way I stronly suggest that everyone read the 9/11 Commission report. I am currently reading it and it gives a lot of insight into what really happened that day.

It is a book which you can buy at any chapters location. The smalled mass market paperback is $12 less and has all the same info so I would recomend that one. But there might be a text on the internet.

Scratch that it is on the internet also, it is long though so I would recomend the book,

9/11 Commission Report Link.

No, but I am willing to bet they have heard a jetliner before and knew enough about its sound to state that they thought it was something different.

I am sure not many people have heard a jetliner at less than 50 feet up going at full throttle though.

Well, it would be closer, so it would be just louder then what they have usually heard correct?

I don't put much stock into that theory of a missle myself so I am not going to start a thing with you. Just saying that they are probably familiar with a jetliner noise -- higher in the sky or lower -- then a missle. So they might know they are not hearing one.

my contention with the whole missile gone wrong theory is the fact that an sam missile dosen't have that big of a warhead on it. At least not large enough to cause that kind of damage.

They're basically designed to explode behind a plane and forward fire a lot of shrapnel in a cone shape. An explosion from one wouldn't cause the widescale damage we saw at the pentagon

Air force boys who stayed at the camp gave me the info, so I guess it isn't my experiences but other peoples experiences....

Damn you Caribou

In 15 more minutes I don't officially work up there anymore.

So basically you lied about hearing a missle being launched/moving to try to prove a point?

Way to go Max.

Yeah, that's what I though. Didn't think you'd acutally have had the opportunity to hear one yourself, considering you can't get within 5 miles of anything they're shooting at.

In my experience, I grew up around Suffield, and occasionally they had demonstrations of weapons, tanks etc. Anywho long story short the one time I've actually seen a live missle fired (at a big baloon designed to detonate mines) it was pretty loud, the missle flying, not the explosion, although that was pretty loud.

No one said it was surface to air though... Its possible it was surface to survace or air to surface. I just really don't buy the bit about 4 massive jet engines turning into molten puddles and draining into the washington DC storm water system never to be seen again.

That really wasn't a lie on my part more just due to horrible english skills MMF. I know you don't enter those rings but I was told they make some noise, however it isn't a lot, well at least not in comparison to all the sonic booms and what not that happen and the planes also make quite a bit of noise (never really see much of them though for obvious reasons).

All that I really know not, don't trust the Norwegian Air Force... and the French too....
