Default Flames - Oilers; 8:00pm MST; CBC; Sportsnet; FAN960

I am not at work today. It is not quiet.
Hopefully a simple Game Day Thread will bring about a simple win.

Play hard. Hit. Shoot. Save. Score. Repeat.

Go Flames Go.

The streak continues NOW!

Oilers willow coming out hard looking for revenge tonight so I hope the Flames are ready.

From creeping over at HFOIL there is a clear increase in their confidence compared to the Christmas game where most of their fans expected the loss.

Oilers are gonna be ready to play this time around. Flames have to be prepared from the start of the game; no slow start.

Would be such a big win. The chance to move into first place in the Pacific combined with a Golden Knights loss.

Huge game. A focussed effort like the one in Edmonton should get it done. I just hope the officiating is balanced as McDavid draws a lot of penalties via embellishment.

Wonder if Reider gets a shot against Edmonton, and, if so, who sits (I know who I’d pick and it’s not Rinaldo).

The number of unearned Oiler powerplays is always my main concern when playing them.

As long as McHobo doesn't say "Let's Go" before the game, I think Flames have a chance. Otherwise the Oilers will come out flying.

Looking forward to going undefeated in this decade.

However, getting a win tonight would be good enough for now.

GFG!

Another game where both teams look similar in terms of streak play.

For some odd reason, the Oilers play better here than at home. Please win so we can leapfrog them again once more and leave them in the dust.

Free tickets in hand. Expect at least 1 Lucic goal.

Always tense to play Edmonton.

Win and it's the best night and post game every. Lose and it's a pain in the ass for a week.

I'm much more comfortable playing Edmonton this year having seen how Ward rolled out a team defence against their big two in Edmonton. For two years we saw nothing but McDavid breakaways and two on ones (Gulutzan especially), and it was terrifying.

Hopefully that's the case tonight.

Calgary has depth. Calgary has the goaltending edge. Neutralize the big boys and let the better team take over.

I’m hoping the Flames win comfortably in regulation, and I hope that James Neal scores two goals so that the Oilers are officially in danger of giving the Flames their 3rd round pick.

#### em up.

Johnny, Sean, Matthew and Zebulon combine to make $24.95M.

McAvi and R. Rai make $21M.

I haven’t approached the games with a ton of enthusiasm this year but this feels different. Really looking forward to it.

Between NFL playoffs, CFB championship and this BOA, it’s a great 3 days of sports.

I think we see one of the most exciting games of the year tonight.
