The Calgary Flames announced today that they have loaned defenseman Dalton Prout to the Stockton Heat on a conditioning assignment.
Prout, a 28-year-old defenseman that joined the Flames in a trade with New Jersey in exchange for Eddie Lack last December has played in one game for the Flames this season. Prout is a veteran of 243 career NHL games having scored six goals and 30 assists for 36 points and 308 penalty minutes.
