Calgary Flames Vs Vegas Golden Knights-7pm MST Hockey Fights Cancer Night!
https://twitter.com/user/status/1064549149142642688
I figured I'd start one since everyone still seems to be on a high from the Oilers game. Hopefully the players aren't doing the same.

The players will probably be in the purple jerseys for warm up and then they'll go to auction. Other than being cancer focused, I doubt anything else changes.

Going to my second game of the season. First one was the home opener and a great win against the Canucks.
5-2 Flames is my prediction.

Time for our annual reminder of how much better the games look when the board ads are monochromatic!
Really excited to see Rittich's 1st game as the starter. I think last game was the test to see how he handled big games, and this is the biggest test yet for him: the sustained effort game-to-game.
Just reading the update on Dube it will be interesting to see if he's given tonight to try and change Peters' mind. Between him and Neal talking today you hope to see one of those guys start clicking - and the game after a big BOA win would be a great place to start getting either of those wheels moving.
Good to be excited about Flames games! GFG!

Very interested to see if Frolik-Ryan-Neal was a weird one off the other night or if they have legit chemistry.

I've been lucky enough to go to three games this year.
5-3 Predators
9-1 Penguins
4-3 Caps
Good news folks, I'm not going tonight! Predicting a 2-0 Flames win with goals from Gaudreau and Dube.

TBH I'm still buzzing from the Edmonton game, so I haven't even given this one a thought. I hope the players are more prepared then I am! There's a good chance the team might put up a stinker tonight after an emotionally draining game.
Hopefully Neal can stick one to his old team and pot a couple ones.

Play like they did in the 2nd half of that Edmonton game, and the Flames win this one.
Man, it feels so good to have confidence in our goaltending again. Flames could go on a solid run here if Rittich can continue his excellent play.

They did have a day off in between though, so hopefully that helped them put the Oilers game behind them and focus solely on Vegas. This is another improtant divisional match-up tonight and they need these 2 points to keep pace with the Sharks.

Would be awesome to see a 3 point night for Gio and a goal for Gaudreau (but nothing for Tkachuk, Monahan, Lindholm). Then 5 guys all exactly PPG
3-0 Flames
Giordano (Backlund, Bennett)
Gaudreau (Giordano)
Neal (Ryan, Giordano)

Knights are my five year old son's favourite team. We saw their first ever game live here in Van (preseason last year) and ever since they've been his fave.
I love my son....... but I hope his team loses bad!
I'll say Gaudreau explodes for three points. Bennett gets an ugly one. And Valimaki gets a breakaway somehow at some point.

Here's hoping!
He keeps testing me, saying, "If I was on the Golden Knights, and they played the Flames, who would you cheer for?" Like "Do you love me more than the Flames?"

Everyone gets an "I fight for" card where you fill in the name of someone you know affected by cancer. At some point everyone is holding them up in their seats.
